Marie Verdugo

Marie Verdugo founded NuYou Life Centers with one primary purpose - providing individuals the opportunity to achieve their life-changing goals and where patients could improve their lives hand-in-hand with qualified providers that can provide the best resources and services to help each patient reach their goals.

Marie and the practitioners at NuYou Life Center are focused on making EVERY patient feel loved and cared for as an individual, because there is only one YOU! Marie’s passion is also driven by her own personal challenges and experiences with weight loss, skin and overall health and well being.

Because of all of you, since the opening of NuYou Life Center in 2017, we have now opened our first solo location as of January 2022. In 2021 Marie went on to become a Certified Laser Technician to add additional services that would help those who struggle with their skin and the signs of aging. By adding additional tools and resources to aid in this process it allows NuYou Life Center to continue providing top tier service for your health and beauty needs.

What makes their individualized approach unique is their focus on YOU.

Mark Knoblauch, FNP-BC

With over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse in Emergency, Dermatology, Endocrinology, Family Practice, and Cosmetics, Mark has gained valuable insights into healthcare and wellness.

Mark joins our team as the medical director and we are beyond excited to have him apart of our team! With his expertise, knowledge and experience we look forward to working together alongside him to continue to serve our patients with the best care.

Brian Benson, RN-BSN

Meet Brian Benson, the newest team member to NuYou Life Center. We are beyond thrilled to have Brian a part of our team with his passion for aesthetics and helping others reach their beauty and health goals. We only see great things ahead for this young man.
  1. I went to Scottsdale Community College for the nursing program and finished my Bachelor’s at Grand Canyon University.
  2. My BF and I have been together for 8 years. Neither of us have ever cared about being married but we discuss it every now and then as an excuse to throw a big party for our family and friends.
  3. I love animals! I have two rescue dogs. Carol is a lab mix and Talisker is a shepherd mix.
  4. My family is from the Midwest, but I moved to NYC after high school. I love East Coast directness.
  5. I love traveling, domestic, internationally… we have 16 trips planned this year and a cruise.
  6. I can also spend money faster than I can make it… because I have a hard time saying no to fun.
  7. My sun sign is a Libra, my moon is a cancer, and my rising is an Aries… I am told it is quite the mix of emotions.
  8. When I went to Ireland, all my friends and family told me to not “kiss the Blarney Stone”… because it will give you the gift of gab. Apparently, I already have it. 😝
  9. I met Marie through Shelby. Shelby was cutting my hair and was so sweet and offered to introduce me to Marie. I will always be so grateful for her! Also, her lashes are AMAZING!
  10. I can’t believe I waited this long to get into aesthetics… I love it!! But it all works out when it is supposed to.

Desiree Mazia, RN-BSN

Desiree Mazia joined the NuYou team this past May and we are so excited to have her. Desiree always knew that she would one day have an opportunity to fulfill her dream of being an aesthetic professional. The combination of her passion and drive speaks for itself. We are looking forward to seeing and being apart of her professional aesthetic journey with us!
  1. I love to play soccer, I’ve been playing since I was five years old ⚽️
  2. I have a big yellow fish named lemon (blood parrot cichlid)
  3. I love to dance, I join in on Zumba from time to time 💃
  4. I am born and raised in Arizona.
  5. My favorite place to travel is Rocky Point, Mexico.
  6. I have a one year old baby girl named Violet.
  7. My dream is aesthetics and making people feel beautiful 🤩
  8. I love to skydive, I am an adrenaline junkie 🪂
  9. I’m a cat lover 🐈‍⬛ (owner of 3)
  10. My dream travel places are Brazil, Ireland, and Italy 🧳

Erykah LaRosa

Director of Operations

When you enter NuYou you will see this beautiful face welcome you with genuine love and happiness. Not only does Erykah exude happiness, she also has over 6 years of customer service experience and it shows! First impressions is everything, and we definitely have someone who not only leaves a positive first impression, but you find yourself leaving with that sparkle she shares!

Erykah is currently working on her pre-requisites and aspires to continue her education and enroll for nursing school with the ultimate goal of being a nurse injector.

We can’t wait to see her bright future and are so happy to be apart of her journey!
